Accessed sales orders from the back-office system via an API
Read bill of materials for each sales order from another API
Accessed shop floor results, including the production history of each part in the bill of material, from a different API
Consolidated all the data to provide the scheduler with a streamlined process for generating work orders for the shop floor
Included the ability to schedule a sales order for one plant across multiple plants, factoring in necessary lead times to allow transportation of completed parts to another plant, where final assembly occurs

Improved on-time completion of customer orders
Incorporated service orders and replacement parts into the work orders process
Integrated PLCs to provide a real-time graphic representation to operators of the volume of material consumed, significantly reducing scrap quantity for parts that fall outside allowed QA parameters
Provided operators with graphical work instructions for each product and sent production results to the scheduling system, where the information is factored into part history to continue to improve the work order creation process
